Once motion has been restored in a joint, stretches and exercises are often prescribed to help maintain the restored motion. Exercises are typically performed in the office and continued at home between appointments. The goal of your home rehab is to strengthen muscles that are allowing improper motion and stretch tissues that are improperly restricting motions.
Rehab exercises allow patients to be more in control of their pain and their care. It is Dr. Kerri’s goal to give her patients the tools they need to enjoy their lives without pain.
